I am sorry to say that the Eason Invitational has been canceled for 2008.  There is 2" of snow on the track and 3" of snow in the throwing and warm-up areas.  At meet time the weather conditions are for 38 degrees and snow/rain mix  The National Weather Service just reissued a heavy snow advisory for the morning for up to an additional 7" of snow.  To add to all that, our school internet connections are down (I had to run home to post this message) and that is vital to using our networked FinishLynx system.  In the best interest of all concerned, the decision was made to cancel the meet.  I don't think any of us wants our athletes to be in such conditions for the length of the meet.  Thanks for your time and best of success throughout the rest of the season.  If you need to reach me,  my cell phone number is 425-315-5016.
